Creating Synthetic Portfolios

From the main "Portfolios" menu select "Create" or select "Create" from the Portfolio Browser to display the Create Portfolio dialog:

After entering the name of the new Synthetic Portfolio and the Desk to which it is to be assigned, the portfolio is created by clicking on the "OK" button.

In order to define how this portfolio will aggregate positions, select "Define" to display the Synthetic Portfolio Definition dialog:

The definition above causes the portfolio to select all Actual Positions from all Actual Portfolios that are assigned to Desks beginning with the name "TRADER_A".
