Reset All Securities

This function Resets-To-Market all Securities that need to update their local data at a regular frequency. This update is done as of the Default Date and Default World State.

Only securities that need to monitor the value of market variables need to be reset-to-market. For example, a Single Barrier Option must monitor market data periodically to determine if the barrier has been reached.

Such securities are preprogrammed with the reset frequency. In future, other securities may have reset frequencies that are selectable by the user.

This operation cannot be undone. Therefore, it is recommended that a backup copy of the current database be made, before proceeding with this operation.

[Note, also, that these resets should always be verified with the counterparty for the security to ensure that there is agreement on the reset results.]
